A little about Castro Valley

Castro Valley, California, is on the east side of San Francisco Bay, just north of Hayward, in Alameda County. It is one of the largest unincorporated areas by population in the state with a population of more than 55,000. The city is home to two hospitals, Eden Medical Center and Laurel Grove Hospital. One of its most recognized features is the 315-acre Chabot Lake, popular for swimming, fishing and other water activities.
